Enjoy an epic adventure this summer at the Royal Armouries Museum.

Watch exciting horse shows with a Mongolian theme, have a go at creative craft activities, and discover unique treasures on a museum trail. All free - every day from 22 July to 31 August. 

Free daily horse shows
Come and see our riders demonstrate the skills and mounted combat techniques Mongolian warriors used as they rode across continents. From mounted archery displays to two-handed mace demos this is a show you won’t want to miss.

Shows at 11am and 2pm, daily.
Free, drop-in no need to book.

Craft Activities

On the 4th floor you'll find a make your own paper ger (yurt) activity and colouring.

Museum Trail

Pick up a museum trail featuring Batu The Fast, a Mongolian messenger and scout, as he helps you find treasures in the Asian and African Gallery.

All the above activities are free. The trail and craft are always on whilst the museum is open, the horse shows are twice daily. We also have a programme of free combats and demos- see our daily programme on entry to the museum. 

And if you want to make your Mongolian Summer complete, explore our exhibition with stories and treasures from the Mongol Empire, many of which have not been seen outside Mongolia before. Exhibition tickets are £9 per adult, free for Under 16s and £7 for concessions.
