Join us for our exciting Home Education Days, specially designed for home educated children and their families. These fun-filled activity days will bring history and our extraordinary collection of arms and armour to life through interactive workshops led by costumed characters, hands-on activities, and fascinating stories from the past.
Throughout the day, families will rotate through a variety of immersive activities during the day that will spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and inspire a love of learning.
Perfect for curious minds and budding historians, our Home Education Days offer an unforgettable opportunity to learn, explore, and have fun together.
A lunch space will be provided.
All tickets must be booked in advance.
During these events, the museum will be open to the public and school groups.
How to book:
There are three types of session for you to book: Military Drill, Storytelling, and Object Handling. Each session takes 30 minutes. We recommend booking one of each sessions for a complete experience.
Please note that all three session types run at the same time during each time slot. This allows us to offer more sessions across the day, but it also means that you should not book two different sessions in the same time slot, as it will not be possible to attend both.
