Fort Nelson is a great place for a free day out with acres of ramparts and tunnels to explore, plus the amazing collection of artillery and big guns to discover.

Junior Assault Course
Our ever-popular assault course is back, packed with obstacles, challenges and plenty of adventures every day.

£3.50 per child, suitable for ages 3+. Pay on the door.

The assault course will be open daily from Tuesday 21 July to Sunday 6 September, from 10am to 4.30pm

Opening hours
The Fort is open from 10am - 5pm, 7 days a week during the school summer holidays (21 July - 6 September).

Parking is £3 per vehicle, payable on arrival.
Pet dogs are not allowed on site.
