How can immersive technologies help cultural and heritage organisations engage audiences, tell stories in new ways and create experiences that respond to the distinctive character of their spaces?
Join the Innovate UK Immersive Tech Network, Royal Armouries and West Yorkshire Regional Hub partners for an afternoon exploring how organisations across culture, heritage and the creative industries are using immersive technologies to connect with audiences, interpret collections and create memorable shared experiences.
An event designed for museum and cultural heritage venues, experience designers and creators, immersive technology suppliers, local and regional authorities, funders and investors to explore the art of the possible. Networking lunch followed by project showcases, panel discussions, immersive demos and early-evening networking session.
Attendees will hear from organisations already delivering innovative projects, explore real-world examples, discover emerging approaches to audience engagement, and gain practical insight into what it takes to turn an idea into a successful immersive experience.
Alongside inspiring examples and practical lessons, the event will bring together cultural and heritage organisations with immersive creators, researchers, support organisations, ecosystem partners and other sector stakeholders to share knowledge, explore opportunities, identify potential collaborators and build meaningful connections.
The event is free and will be in person at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
